As we announced when the P.P. and VOX formed government after winning the region elections in Baleares.
Today 18th of July of 2022 , the President of the Balearic Government, Marga Prohens, has just announced the adjustment of the Inheritance and Donations Tax between parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, and between spouses, both in cases of death and through inheritance agreements during lifetime, effectively eliminating it.
This measure is part of an agreement between the PP and Vox parties, which also includes other tax reduction measures.
They have also reduced inheritance tax by 50% between siblings or between uncles/aunts and nieces/nephews, making Baleares the region with the lowest tax burden for these cases.
