Never have their been so many real estate opportunities as today.

Builders and developers are having their assets taken to auction or repossessed by banks for debt worth less than half of what the assets where valued at last year.

The builders and banks are prepared to sell well below market price, and properties are being offered at auctions at extremely low prices.

It sounds to good to be true, but what is happening, is :

  1. That the large investment opportunities would normally only be purchased by the companies that know this business (the real estate players), but at this moment in time anyone that has been involved in real estate tends to be skint and with no chance of obtaining finance from the Spanish banks (who are skint also).
  2. The banks are very tough with their lending criteria, because they, like the real estate players are very exposed to the property market and therefore are not able to lend.

Thanks to the numerous cases we take on against builders all over Spain, we constantly come across opportunities.
